Application Deadline:    August 1, 2009. Applications postmarked after deadline will be accepted for available spaces, waitlist and/or when cancellations occur.

Pasadena’s Discovery of Art will be the Premiere showplace in the newly-expanded, state-of-the-art, Pasadena Convention Center in Pasadena, California.  Pasadena and the surrounding areas fit the demographics targeted for this show.

This mixed media retail show was developed to create an atmosphere of variety for all.  Discovery of Art will be feastive, classic and tailored for the shoppers.  Many event goers come with one thing on their mind - - - to buy!  Musical entertainment will be performing during the show. 

I need to keep this a quality show and will request everyone's help to do so.  I cannot stress this enough to my exhibtors.

Resale Number/Seller’s Permit:    All exhibitors must have a valid, current California Resale Number. If not, you can obtain one by contacting 800-400-7115 (California State Board of Equalization).

Advertising:    Advertising will be featured in the following print publications: The Crafts Report, LA Times, Pasadena Star News, Palos Verdes Pennisula, Beach Reporter (Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach), Long Beach Daily Breeze, Santa Monica Daily Press, Japanese and Korean publications in the Los Angeles and surrounding areas, Pasadena Chamber of Commerce monthly newsletter and monthly e-mailer, Radio ads on KTWV (the Wave).

Hotels:    Area hotel rates and names will be provided in your confirmation exhibitor package. You may also get information through the Pasadena Travel and Tourism Bureau. They can be reached at 626-568-9298.

Tear Down after Show:    There will be no early teardown. The show runs 10-6 daily and ends at 6:01 p.m. on Sunday night. We will be charging a $100 fine for early teardown.  Early departure threatens the integrity of the show and is not professional. 

Refunds:  I will refund 75% of your booth fee if you cancel out by Nov. 2.  Cancellations on or after Nov. 2, 2009, depending on circumstances, may prevent refunds.
